Aaahhh..lovely, quiet Winter. We have been inundated in our little burg with mass quantities of snow! While it causes all kinds of drama, we can't help but see the beauty of an all white and silvery landscape and the muffled quiet it fosters.

  This is the time of year that we clean and rearrange and freshen up the stores in town. Life seems to slow down and asks us to wait and be patient. Of course in Montana, our patience is tested alot longer than many other places, as our winter is usually from about the end of October until the wonderfully golden rays of light that come at last to us in June. But, anyone who lives in this type of enviroment learns to pace themselves and not be in too big of a rush for spring, lest we miss the beauty of Winter and dont appreciate the  glorious Spring once it comes.

  This will be a heavy winter and the ice is already forming on the lake. Hockey and fishing will be on the docket now instead of water skiing and swimming, but the joy is still present.

   Living around a lake as large as Flathead Lake lends itself to many wonderful prospects depending on the season. We invite you to come and visit us in any season. You won't be disappointed, I promise!
